The NEO Book Club, or the Not Exactly the Oprah Book Club, meets once a month from September through June to discuss a different book each month. We meet on the 3rd Sunday, usually at 5pm for 90 minutes or so. Membership comes from western Massachusetts' Hampden and Hampshire counties though gay men from other areas are welcome too.

We read a range of literature and like variety, though we often select popular or classic gay fiction. Each month's discussion is held at a different person's home and the host selects the book to be read. To encourage a friendly and relaxed environment, the host usually supplies some light refreshments and the group usually socializes for 15 minutes or so before the discussion.
